A Strategic Guide for 7 Card Stud Hi Lo

Frequently, players new to 7 Card Stud Hi Lo stay too long in the hand, hoping to catch something on the sixth card, and when nothing comes up they end up losing money. The way to win is by using the right 7 Card Stud Hi Lo strategies, not merely hoping for the hest in the seventh card.

The importance of the first four cards in 7 Card Stud Hi Lo cannot be overemphasized. If the initial three are connected and/or suited and the fourth card a complementary one as well, then this will give you the edge by the time the fifth, sixth and seventh cards are issued out.

High and low pairs are ideal, but even more so if they are suited, as these will give your 7 Card Stud Hi Lo strategy more room to maneuver, as you can get a bigger hands with the sixth or seventh cards.
