Vanessa Rousso is definitely not only beautiful, but she is also one fine lady with brains. She was born on February 5, 1983 in White Plains, New York but she currently resides in Miami Beach, Florida. She is both an American and a French citizen.
Vanessa Rousso has always excelled academically. She did well as a high school student in Wellington, Florida and even graduated as valedictorian in 2001. She only spent two years to complete a degree in economics and in political science at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina in December 2003. Now, she is trying to complete her law education at the University of Miami.
Vanessa Rousso was already playing poker as early as she was five years old, but she only started to join the poker tournament circuit when she was already a law student. It was during her first summer vacation when she tried to join tournaments. The result of her venture into the poker tournament circuit for the very first time made her more interested in pursuing a career as a female professional poker player. She just realized how financially rewarding poker is.
It was on May 18, 2005 when Vanessa Rousso became one of the ten poker players left at the final table of a No Limit Hold'em game that was held during the Harrah's New Orleans Poker Challenge of the World Series of Poker Circuit Event. This female professional poker player landed on the 7th spot and won US$6,465.
On June 13, 2005, Vanessa Rousso won first prize at the No Limit Hold'em Summer Series, taking home US$2,330. This female professional poker player was also visible at the 36th Annual World Series of Poker, joining the No Limit Hold'em event for ladies wherein she became the forty fifth placer and won US$1,640.
Vanessa Rousso has been very passionate about such casino game that she makes sure she gets to join a number of poker events on an annual basis. In 2006, this female professional poker player made herself visible in more than five poker events. Most of the events she participated in were conducted by the World Poker Tour and the World Series of Poker. She was particularly visible at the 37th Annual World Series of Poker, participating in such games as the Limit Hold'em, the Short Handed, and the No Limit Hold'em Short Handed. In September 2006, this female professional poker player also won at the 4th Borgata Poker Open of the World Poker Tour. She won first place and US$285,450.
In 2007, she was also a participant of some events featured at the Grand Casino Tunica Poker Tournament, the Ultimate Poker Challenge, and the Gulf Coast Poker Championship.
